MusicGlyph · for 0dB Labs
How it works
MusicGlyph is the commission desk and does the heavy lifting for client work. 0dblabs.com is the catalogue shop. They are two doors into the same label — one for buying what already exists, one for asking for work that does not.
Two doors
Catalogue — 0dblabs.com
Buy a single score or a package already published. One payment on that site, then the download. The licence printed with the edition is a personal licence: play and listen yourself. It does not cover resale, sync, ads, or uploading the files to a public site.
Commission desk — this site
This is where the heavy lifting happens: new written music, a package in the 0dB shape, a studio recording of a score you already have, a commercial licence on catalogue work, or a book or film set. You send a brief; the publisher quotes in writing.
The commission path
Choose the kind of work
Catalogue downloads stay on 0dblabs.com. New scores, packages, studio recordings, commercial licences, and book or film sets start here with a brief.
Send the brief
Describe the piece, the use, the territory and the term. We email you a confirmation link. Nothing reaches the publisher until you confirm.
Confirm by email
Open the link, review what you asked for, and confirm. That stops a mail scanner from placing a brief by opening a URL.
Receive a written quote
0dB Labs replies with price, deliverables and licence wording. There is no checkout and no payment on this site.
Rights, plainly
A commercial licence is not a waiver of every 0dB Labs right. That matters for both of us.
- Personal licence (catalogue default)
- Play and listen. No commercial use until something else is agreed in writing.
- Commercial licence
- Written permission for the named commercial uses, territory and term in the quote — for example film or advertising sync, a release, publication, or education. Copyright and publishing credit stay with 0dB Labs. You get the right to use the work as agreed; the label does not hand over ownership.
- Buyout or assignment
- Only if you need the copyright itself. That is a separate deal, quoted and signed on its own. Ask for it in the brief if that is what you need.
- New commissions
- Deliverables and licence wording are set in the quote for that job. Starting prices on Services are guides, not checkout amounts.

Ready
A brief is a request for a quotation. It is not an order and not a payment.
